PREVENTION

I’m a firm believer that common sense is the way to go in all aspects of life.  Stop and think about it.  Every living thing has a normal pH.  If there is too much acid or alkalinity, trouble lurks.

As we go through our day, we subject our bodies to all kinds of things that are not good for us.  Even though we know that, we subject ourselves to it anyway.  Of course, some things we are unaware of such as products used to grow our food.  We either don’t think about it or we just trust with blind faith that if we purchase certain foods that are known to be good for us, we will be healthier.  That is not necessarily the truth.  There are many things we need to spend time considering and thinking about if we want to remain healthy.

How many times have you said to yourself, “I really should exercise” but never get around to doing it.  Do you drink in excess or smoke?  Do you eat fast foods and greasy or unhealthy foods as a general diet?  You know without being told that you can’t keep these things up without your body rebelling.  Cancer is just one of the ways in which a body rebels and if you check out the statistics you know it’s very possible you could become a statistic.  All of us think we are invincible and bad things only happen to other people.  Ask yourself just how many people you know or have known that had cancer.

Genetics also plays a part in whether you will have cancer.  Have any of your relatives had cancer?  It’s not too late for you..  Change your lifestyle. And while you’re at it, see your physician and tell him or her that you would like to start preventive tests.  Knowledge can save your life.  The results from the tests can prevent you from ever having cancer.  It can be your blueprint for a healthier future.

Stress causes all types of diseases.  The mind and the body work hand in hand.  A car motor and transmission have to work together.  If one or the other doesn’t work properly, your car starts showing stress followed by symptoms until something breaks.  There you are broke down at the side of the road.  Sometimes it can be repaired and sometimes it can’t.  Usually it depends on how long you waited as to what the outcome will be.  We take it for granted that every part of our body will work when we need it to and never wear out.
